Who is Simon McCoy and what are his crimes?

Simon McCoy is not his real name. ‘Simon’ lives in Columbia now, but is originally from the UK. This is his memoir of a thirty year career smuggling the white stuff from South America to Europe. It was an accidental occupation that he fell into after losing the business he had set up in the 80’s. Desperate to generate an income, he travelled to South America to find a new import opportunity. He found two things – Alpaca knitwear and cocaine. Ths first became a cover for the second as he successfully transported his products across the borders. No gangsters, no guns, but a journey of risk, escapes, close calls, deep lows and the highest of highs.
